I saw this leather chair in a salon in Rundle Street and knew I had to paint it. I love beautiful furniture, but my exhibition in Perth asks the question, what is the cost of our consumer lifestyle on the environment? This real zebra skin is evidence of the huge (and senseless) cost to the environment.
